<p>We are on the look out for a new editor and copywriter to join our team working on Clickmusic, and other Sonic Publishing titles.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re offering a part time, paid position in our East London office, for an exceptional candidate who possesses the following skills:</p>
<p>* Engaging, entertaining writing style.<br />
* Excellent subbing and editing skills.<br />
* In depth knowledge of the alternative music scene, ideally with great existing contacts.<br />
* Good understanding of basic HTML, content management systems, online trends and Photoshop.<br />
* Experience in the use of social media, i.e. Twitter, Facebook, etc.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities will include:</p>
<p>* Writing copy for Sonic Publishing titles, from news stories to reviews and features.<br />
* Uploading into a content management system.<br />
* Creating and maintaining relationships with PRs, labels and artists.<br />
* Conducting interviews, both text and video based.<br />
* Upkeep of social media profiles.<br />
* Managing a team of writers, providing review material, commissioning pieces and editing/uploading their copy.</p>

If you&#8217;ve got your ear to the ground when it comes to the latest news, and are bursting with opinions when your eyes are fixed to the screen, we&#8217;d like to hear from you with regards to updating Behind The Sofa.</p>
<p>If you have:<br />
* Excellent writing, subbing and editing skills.<br />
* A passion for what&#8217;s hot on television.<br />
* Experience in the use of social media, i.e. Twitter, Facebook, etc.</p>
<p>We&#8217;d love for you to get in touch. We&#8217;re looking for someone to contribute a few articles a month, as well as regular updates on the major shows. This is a great opportunity for a budding writer to broaden their CV and gain experience.</p>

<p>We are looking for Interns to work with our specialist team producing exciting, engaging content for these publications. This will range from reviewing the latest albums and films through to interviewing bands on video, pitching feature ideas and uploading content to the websites.</p>
<p>Successful applicants will gain experience in the competitive world of entertainment journalism, and knowledge of the rapidly growing world of new media.</p>
